Call for Papers: Health Informatics for Ageing and Independent Living

Dear WordPress readers, we are having a little symposium here at Liverpool Hope University next week (that I am organizing) on technologies for healthy ageing, independent living and dementia; and, on the tail of it, I am going to co-guest edit (with Dr Hissam Tawfik) a special issue on Health Informatics for Ageing and Independent Living for the International Journal of Medical Engineering and Informatics.scoverijmei

As from the Call for Papers: “This special issue will focus on recent developments in the field of health informatics and assistive technologies for supporting independent living, particularly for, but not limited to, the ageing population. A key goal is to exploit technological enhancements to help facilitate the creation of better user experiences and to increase support for active and independent living.”

If you are interested in the subject, keep an eye out for this Special Issue, and visit the Inderscience link here.
